UPS Module
The UPS module (Uninterruptable Power Supply) ensures that the electrical power is not interrupted if mains voltage to your server fails (e.g. in case of a power outage). The UPS also protects the connected equipment against five types of mains pollution: power failure, voltage dips and peaks, undervoltage and overvoltage.
As soon as the UPS is activated, the emergency generator starts up. The UPS is mutually redundant and has an autonomy time of five minutes. You can select from N, N+1 and 2N, depending on the chosen Tier classification.
Together with the Mainboard and Generator, the UPS module comprises the powerhouse of your data center.
